The 5th Floors inhabitants trace their roots to Hollywood, Florida. Unlike its Californian counterpart, Hollywood isn’t home to the rich and famous, isn’t full of smog, doesn’t have a large city sign, nor the "walk of fame". Hollywood is a suburban paradise wedged between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. So what makes Hollywood? The cities architecture? Nope. Nothing out of the world. The wealth? there aren’t many millionaires. the local government? probably the same as any American city. So what does Hollywood have? It has beaches from heaven and some great swim, skim, surf, and skate. The weather only has two seasons year round, perfect and even better. The eats are inexpensive and great. The residents are friendly, relaxed, and as diverse as any group of people in America.
Internet, I know you understand why this sounds like paradise, but not everyone is as smart as you. Some critics may read this section and snobbishly comment that the city the 5th Floor traces its roots to is a piece of crap.
But here, on the 5th Floor, we didn’t engage in childishly squabbling. We respond with wit, style, and class. So critics, to your comments we respond, even the best of flowers, trees, and life start out with their roots in earths manure.
Other Influences: Family, Friends, The Three L's ( Longboarding, Ladies, and Loving ) Sunshine, Dwayne Wade, The Bay Area, Sports, Music, and the most inspiring person we have ever had the privilege of meeting here on the 5th Floor, Greg Lindberg.
